The Shield
Following the attacks in Paris in 2015, Gary Chorostecki and its team, specialized in UAV manufacturing for security and monitoring, decided to develop a compact and connected tactical shield that can evolve according to the dangers and situations for optimal protection of its wearer. The dual use (back/chest) allow to offer adaptable protection when used in different situations as dynamic entry, patrol, protective barrier, hostage or casualty evacuation. Equipped with front and rear cameras, the user has a global vision to repel all threats via a screen integrated into the shield. Thanks to the inter-connectivity of the shields, operators will have access to a network of sensors and a grouped vision in order to respond to all situations.
Our Solutions
The special internal structure, developed by the innovator Gary Chorostecki, combined with various military-grade composite materials provides to the wearer an effective and light weight protection against ballistic and fragmentation threats. We have developed a new physical principle associated with Kevlar, based on our expertise in advanced aeronautics and eVTOL, to create a real innovation in the field of protection. The central V-shape added strength to the entire lenght of the shield, allowing operator to deploy their weapon without exposing their arm. The shield has been deigned to operate in limited space such as aircrafts, corridors, trains or jungle.
